Technical Pre-Sales Executive


Yapster is even more valuable when it can connect directly to our customers’ other key systems. Working directly with the Head of Projects and Senior Developer, you will be the technical expert when discussing integration projects with new and existing partners and customers. You will take the lead on managing integration projects and ensuring that they are delivered to a high standard, within budget and always meet our business objectives.


  • Annual salary of £23-26k (depending on experience)

Main responsibilities

  • To attend meetings with potential partners to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution

  • To put together business cases for prospective partner integrations

  • To work closely and collaboratively with customers and partners to devise effective integration solutions and agree timeframes

  • To work closely with customers and partners to understand and capture requirements

  • To understand the feasibility of proposed integrations and produce mock ups

  • To present proposed integrations to Yapster colleagues 

  • To produce detailed costings for integration projects and manage budget sign off

  • To be responsible for all project documentation and compliance (and ongoing record keeping relating to the same) 

  • To understand business drivers and risks 

  • To be able to demonstrate the Yapster app and how to effectively use it to audiences of varied technical knowledge 

  • To provide weekly updates to the wider business on integration partner projects.

  • To support our account management team with customer requests for integrations

  • To build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities

  • To be  an external ambassador for Yapster at events

Qualities we’re looking for

  • This is not a technical role but you must love, and be confident using, technology

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator role would be advantageous. 

  • Confident, friendly and engaging - you must consider yourself to be a ‘people person’

  • You must be a structured and organised thinker

  • Ability to work independently and show initiative

  • Adaptable and resilient

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in a retail or hospitality environment is always a bonus

  • Aptitude is more important to us than academic qualifications
