Sales Executive

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Find, nurture, and close deals! Supported by our marketing and customer success teams, you will be responsible for signing up new retail and hospitality customers to Yapster licences

  • Deliver product demos over the phone and in person

  • Build your network within the retail and hospitality sectors, find and meet prospective customers

  • Represent Yapster at industry events and trade shows

  • Work with our Head of Brand to develop our commercial proposition and suggest new marketing ideas

  • Closely monitor news and developments in our target industries and build your knowledge of these sectors

  • Ensuring our Salesforce is up to date and accurate

  • Identify and explore opportunities for commercial partnerships that help extend the reach and utility of the Yapster platform

Experience - professional:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in enterprise sales - ideally in a startup or a SaaS company

  • Demonstrable ability to hit quarterly sales targets

  • Familiarity with using CRM software - ideally Salesforce

  • You must love, and be confident using, technology

  • Confident, friendly and engaging - you must consider yourself to be a ‘people person’

  • Ability to work independently and show initiative

  • Adaptable and resilient

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in retail and hospitality sales is not essential but you must be able to show enthusiasm for working in these markets
